Ask for a copy of the Everglades Region Fishing Guide. Upin Indian River County, the 6,555 acres of Lake Blue Cypress include marsh and cypress swamps that, with the lake, produce largemouth bass bluegill, shellcracker, warmouth bass, spotted sunfish, catfish, speckled perch and black crappie. Fish attractors make this an especially good place for those bass and crappies. Fellsmere Reservoir is one of the catch-and-release grounds where you have to let those prized largemouth bass go immediately after you get a snapshot. You can take home the bream, catfish and crappie you catch. Use the Fellsmere exit off I-95, go west on Hwy 512 to Fellsmere, then north on Hwy 507 and west along Fellsmere Grade about six miles to the launching area.
